The Village of Bellport’s Architectural Review Board (ARB) will hold a public hearing on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Bellport Community Center (4 Bell St.) to review plans for a major exterior renovation at 8 Titus Lane. The hearing is open to the public, and all interested parties will have an opportunity to be heard. Source
What’s proposed for 8 Titus Lane
According to the public notice, the applicant, 8 Titus Lane, LLC, is seeking ARB review for a project in the Village’s AA Residence District (Suffolk County Tax Map 0202-14-2-2). The plans include multiple exterior changes to the single-family home, including: Source
- A sunroom addition
- Removal of the existing front roof-over porch and construction of a new covered entry
- A new front shed dormer and the removal of a rear shed dormer
- A new third-floor rear balcony
- Demolition and replacement of existing second-floor dormers and balcony
- Roof modifications and the addition of two chimneys
- New exterior finishes, including white cedar shingle siding, a red cedar shingle roof, and white Azek trim
- New garage doors, new awning, and picture windows
How to participate
The hearing will take place at the Bellport Community Center, which the notice states is handicapped accessible. Residents who want to comment can attend in person to share feedback on the exterior design, materials, and overall appearance as reviewed by the ARB. Source
